i guess what happened doesn't warrant these feelings from me 

 but emotions operate outside of rationality and everyone knows that 

 other people have felt this way and kept their shit together and waited patiently but not passively to achieve acceptance, forgiveness, optimism 

 i think that's a thing that happens
